Project background

The City of Canada Bay is committed to enhancing foreshore access and promoting active lifestyles through infrastructure upgrades.

In 2018, the lighting infrastructure along the Rhodes foreshore pathway from Lewis Berger Park to The Connection was identified as having reached its end of life and required renewal.

Council resolved to upgrade the lighting along the pathway by replacing the 84 existing light poles and their associated cabling with new LED pathway lighting.

This project will be delivered in three stages. Works involve the disconnection, removal and disposal of the existing lighting; and also the supply, installation and connection of new lighting infrastructure.

Council has appointed the contractor ETI-Raven to complete these upgrade works.

The total cost of this project is approximately $720,000.

Works will be conducted on weekdays between 7am and 5pm.
