We’re planning to begin work by May 2026 on a new multi-court and the refurbishment of our existing court at Five Dock Park.

• Refurbished court (southern end):
  Basketball and futsal line markings, and a basketball hoop with a backboard
• New court (northern end):
  Basketball and netball line markings, and a reversible basketball/netball hoop

This project is proudly funded by the NSW Government in association with the City of Canada Bay.

Background

Council has received funding to construct a multi-purpose court in Five Dock Park in line with our Five Dock Park Masterplan.

Following community feedback collected in late 2024, Council has positioned the new multicourt alongside the skate park, creating a hub for recreation activity.

We later sought community feedback on a draft concept design for the multicourt from July – August 2025.
