Project background
In line with Council’s Let’s All Play Strategy, we’re planning to upgrade the playground in Central Park, Concord. The aim is to create a play space that is inclusive, accessible, and respects the heritage of the park.
We are consulting with the community on the playground design, location, and accessibility. We are aiming to open the playground for the community to use in 2025.
Before the designs are drafted, you’re invited to share your ideas for the new playground. We also want to hear from the children who will use the new playground! The kids activity sheet below asks the kids to draw and describe their ideal playground.
